Like our aqueous based immunotherapy, Allerum is also delivered via subcutaneous injection but contains Aluminium hydroxide. The product goes through an additional step during manufacturing that adds aluminium hydroxide in a process that binds antigens molecules to the alum molecules. This additional step has been shown to slow the release of antigens into the patients blood stream, decreasing the chances of adverse reaction.
